RESOLUTION NO. i 1 — 193
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING A CAP ON THE USER FEE OF $5,000
FOR THE PRESENTATION OF PROFESSIONAL SOCCER
GAMES BY MIAMI FUSION FC, AT THE ORANGE BOWL
ON June 30, 2001, and July 22, 2001, SAID
AUTHORIZATION IS CONDITIONED UPON MIAMI
FUSION FC: (1) PAYING FOR ALL NECESSARY
COSTS OF CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES
ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT, (2) OBTAINING
INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT
AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE, AND (3) COMPLYING WITH ALL
CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE
PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. A cap on the user fee of $5,000 for
presentation of professional soccer games by Miami Fusion FC at
the Orange Bowl Stadium on June 30, 2001, and July 22, 2001, is
authorized.

Section 2. The authorization is contingent upon Miami
Fusion FC: (1) paying for all necessary costs of City services
and applicable fees associated with said event, (2) obtaining
insurance to protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the
City Manager or designee, and (3) complying with all conditions
and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or
designee.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized!' to execute
all necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City
Attorney, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayoral

limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
2� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If
the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately
upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
