A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT OF THE
LAW FIRM OF TEW, CARDENAS, REBAK, KELLOGG,
LEHMAN, DEMARIA AND TAGUE, L.L.P., FOR LEGAL
SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF MIAMI IN THE
MATTER OF CITY OF MIAMI BOND OFFERINGS,
A-1581, AN INVESTIGATION PURSUANT TO A FORMAL
ORDER ISSUED BY THE SECURITY AND EXCHANGE
COMMISSION; ALLOCATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
THEREFOR, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$40,000.00, FROM THE SELF—INSURANCE AND
INSURANCE TRUST FUND, ACCOUNT CODE
NO. 515001.624401.6.661, FOR SAID SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Attorney's continued engagement of
the law firm of Tew, Cardenas, Rebak, Kellogg, Lehman, DeMaria
and Tague, L.L.P., for legal services provided to the City of
Miami, in the matter of City of Miami Bond Offerings, A-1581, an
investigation pursuant to a formal Order issued by the Security
and Exchange Commission, is hereby authorized, with additional
funds therefor, in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00, hereby
allocated from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund,
Account Code No. 515001.624401.6.661, for said services.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/

Authorizing paymen of legal services provided by Tew, Cardenas, Rebak,
Kellogg, Lehman, DeMaria and Tague, LLP in the matter of City of Miami Bond
Offerings, A-1581, an investigation pursuant to a formal Order issued by the
Security and Exchange Commission. (J-01-2)
The attached Resolution seeks authorization for the continued engagement of the law firm
of Tew, Cardenas, Rebak, Kellogg, Lehman, DeMaria and Tague, LLP, for legal services provided
to the City of Miami in connection with the in the matter of City of Miami Bond Offerings,
A-1581, a civil investigation pursuant to a formal Order issued by the Security and Exchange
Commission.
Funds in an amount not to exceed an additional $40,000 will be allocated from the City of
Miami Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund, Index Code No. 515001.624401.6.661 for said
services. Funds in the amount of $75,000 were previously paid to this law firm for this matter,
pursuant to Resolution No. 99-710.
