HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-01-0072J-01-2 12/12/00 RESOLUTION NO. 01— 7 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT OF THE LAW FIRM OF TEW, CARDENAS, REBAK, KELLOGG, LEHMAN, DEMARIA AND TAGUE, L.L.P., FOR LEGAL SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF MIAMI IN THE MATTER OF CITY OF MIAMI BOND OFFERINGS, A-1581, AN INVESTIGATION PURSUANT TO A FORMAL ORDER ISSUED BY THE SECURITY AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION; ALLOCATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS THEREFOR, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000.00, FROM THE SELF—INSURANCE AND INSURANCE TRUST FUND, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 515001.624401.6.661, FOR SAID SERVICES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Attorney's continued engagement of the law firm of Tew, Cardenas, Rebak, Kellogg, Lehman, DeMaria and Tague, L.L.P., for legal services provided to the City of Miami, in the matter of City of Miami Bond Offerings, A-1581, an investigation pursuant to a formal Order issued by the Security and Exchange Commission, is hereby authorized, with additional funds therefor, in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00, hereby allocated from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund, Account Code No. 515001.624401.6.661, for said services.
