A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT ALL
RELEVANT CITY DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES TO
IMMEDIATELY INITIATE ALL PROCESSES AND
ACTIONS, INCLUDING PREPARATION OF LEGISLATION
TO AMEND THE CITY CODE, TO ESTABLISH UNIFORM
PARKING LOT STANDARDS AND CRITERIA AND
PROVIDE FOR ENFORCEMENT THEREOF FOR THE AREAS
LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OMNI AND
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to instruct all
relevant City departments and agencies to immediately initiate
processes and actions, including preparation of legislation to
amend the City Code, to establish uniform parking lot standards
and criteria and provide for enforcement thereof for the areas
located within the boundaries of the Omni and Overtown/Park West
Redevelopment Districts.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.11
1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.

Please be advised that I will bring up a pocket item directing the City Manager
to instruct all relevant city departments and agencies to immediately initiate all
