Dear Jason:
Thank you for taking the time to talk with me yesterday about the street
banners the Historical Museum hopes to place on USI and the downtown area
this July. We really can't miss this opportunity to promote this exhibit to
the community, and I feel it is important that the most high -traffic areas
are included in our outdoor advertising schedule.
I am attaching detailed information about the Historical Museum's upcoming
exhibition, "Florida's Rock 'n Roll Legends." It promises to be a dynamic,
educational and entertaining exhibition, focusing on the last 50 years of
popular music in the Sunshine State. "Florida's Rock 'n Roll Legends" also
examines gospel, jazz, Latin, rhythm and blues, folk and country music, so
it is sure to appeal to Miami's diverse community.
it is also important to note that this exhibit was organized by the Museum
of Florida History in Tallahassee and is funded, in part, by the Florida
Department of State.
If you should have any questions, or need more information, please call or
e-mail me. I look forward to hearing from you before the June 14th meeting.
Thanks again for all of your help,
