ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
ESTABLISHING INITIAL RESOURCES AND INITIAL
APPROPRIATIONS FOR A SPECIAL REVENUE FUND
ENTITLED: "WYNWOOD/HIDTA CRIME AND DRUG
DEMAND REDUCTION PROGRAM FUND," AND
APPROPRIATING $42,000 TO SAID FUND,
CONSISTING OF A GRANT FROM THE SOUTH FLORIDA
HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA (HIDTA)
CRIME AND DRUG DEMAND REDUCTION PROGRAM;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT SAID
GRANT AND TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS,
IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY,
FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRANT; CONTAINING A
REPEALER PROVISION AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Police will implement enforcement
strategies to attack crime through intensive enforcement and
arrests of drug traffickers, caree c finals and violent crime
offenders in the Wynwood commun t4 and
