HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-02-1193J-02-963 10/29/02 in RESOLUTION NO. 0 2 —119 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION RELATED TO A HOLIDAY CELEBRATION TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 18, 2002, SPONSORED BY THE LITTLE HAVANA ACTIVITIES & NUTRITION CENTERS OF DADE COUNTY, INC.; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER AND ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $4,000, FROM ACCOUNT NO. 001000921054.6.289, ENTITLED "SPECIAL EVENTS FESTIVAL ACCOUNT," TO THE BUDGET OF THE COCONUT GROVE EXPO CENTER FOR THE PROVISION OF RENT, EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL, CONDITIONING SAID AUTHORIZATION UPON THE SPONSOR: (1) OBTAINING ALL PERMITS REQUIRED BY LAW; (2) PAYING FOR ALL OTHER NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE CELEBRATION; (3) OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER; AND (4) COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1 amount not The transfer and allocation of funds in the to exceed $4,000, from Account CITY CGIMSSWK MEETING CV, 0 C T 2 9 2002 R�rsczlution Ato. 02-1193 No. 001000921054.6.289, entitled "Special Events Festival Account," to the Budget of the Coconut Grove Expo Center is authorized for a holiday celebration to be held on December 18, 2002, sponsored by the Little Havana Activities & Nutrition Centers of Dade County, Inc. for the provision of rent, equipment and personnel, conditioned upon the sponsor: (1) obtaining all permits required by law; (2) paying for all other necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with the celebration; (3) obtaining insurance, to protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager; and (4) complying with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.11 1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
