RESOLUTION NO. 02-1143
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-02-1037, WHICH WAS
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2002,
TO PROVIDE FOR EXECUTIVE SEARCH SERVICES FOR
THE SELECTION OF A NEW MANAGER FOR THE CITY
OF MIAMI, TO INCREASE BY $15,000 FROM $50,000
TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $65,000, AS
PAYMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FROM THE
EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution No. 02-1037 is amended in the
following particulars:l/
"RESOLUTION NO. 02-1037
Section 1. The City Manager is authorizedV to
execute an agreement, in a form acceptable to the city
attorney, with the best qualified of Bennett &
Associates, Maximus, or Korn -ferry International, for
professional executive search services for selection

and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect
and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material.
z/ The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all
requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.31

If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If
the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately
upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
