RESOLUTION NO0 2 — 910
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO RETAIN
COUNSEL AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO DEFEND THE
CITY OF MIAMI IN ANY CHALLENGE TO THE CITY'S
INTEREST IN ITS AGREEMENT(S) WITH RACEWORKS,
LLC; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $25,000, FROM THE NON-
DEPARTMENTAL/LEGAL SERVICES FUND FOR SUCH
SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Attorney is authorized to retain
counsel as may be necessary to defend the City of Miami in any
challenge to the City's interest in its agreement(s) with
Raceworks, LLC, with funds in an amount not to exceed $25,000,
allocated from the Non-Departmental/Legal Services Fund for such
services.

1' If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If
the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately
upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
