HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-02-0910J-02-726 7/25/02 RESOLUTION NO0 2 — 910 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO RETAIN COUNSEL AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO DEFEND THE CITY OF MIAMI IN ANY CHALLENGE TO THE CITY'S INTEREST IN ITS AGREEMENT(S) WITH RACEWORKS, LLC; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000, FROM THE NON- DEPARTMENTAL/LEGAL SERVICES FUND FOR SUCH SERVICES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Attorney is authorized to retain counsel as may be necessary to defend the City of Miami in any challenge to the City's interest in its agreement(s) with Raceworks, LLC, with funds in an amount not to exceed $25,000, allocated from the Non-Departmental/Legal Services Fund for such services.
