RESOLUTION NO. 02- 864
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONDUCT A
STUDY AND TO REPORT HIS FINDINGS AT THE
SEPTEMBER 12, 2002 CITY COMMISSION MEETING
RELATED TO THE POSSIBLE CONSTRUCTION OF A
POLICE TRAINING CENTER ON THE LAND DONATED
BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS
BEING BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY NORTHWEST 19TH
TERRACE, ON THE SOUTH BY NORTHWEST 18TH
STREET, ON THE EAST BY INTERSTATE 95 AND ON
THE WEST BY 7TH AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to conduct a
study and to report his findings at the September 12, 2002 City
Commission meeting related to the possible construction of a
police training center on the land donated by the Florida
Department of Transportation for public , generally described as
being bounded on the north by Northwest 19th Terrace, on the
south by Northwest 18th Street, on the east by Interstate 95 and
on the west by 7th Avenue, Miami, Florida.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/

lj If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective
at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and
adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
