HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-02-0861J-02-1101 8/22/02 c� L� RESOLUTION NO. 02- — S V A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY, MANAGER TO REPROGRAM $100,000 OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDS FROM PREVIOUSLY APPROVED COCONUT GROVE PILOT PROJECTS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE CENTER FOR URBAN AND COMMUNITY DESIGN, TO IMPLEMENT REVITALIZATION PROJECTS IN THE COCONUT GROVE COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION DISTRICT WITH THE COCONUT GROVE COLLABORATIVE, INC.; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH SAID ORGANIZATION FOR SAID PURPOSE, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE CITY CODE PROVISIONS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is authorizedll to reprogram $100,000 of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Funds from previously approved Coconut Grove pilot projects to the University of Miami School of Architecture Center for Urban and Community Design, to implement revitalization projects in the 1� The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. The City Manager is further authorized to execute an agreement, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with said organization for said purpose, subject to applicable city code provisions. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.�l If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
