BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Funding is available from the Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000.290201.6.670. BACKGROUND The Police Department requires full air conditioning maintenance services and repairs, including parts, labor, material and equipment, for the air conditioning systems at the various Police facilities, on an as needed basis. The Police facilities are as follows: North and South Substations; the David Herring Training Center; the Mounted Patrol Trailer; the Central Headquarters Building which includes the Guard House, Roof Mechanical Room, Uniform and Mailroom Trailers, Identification Processing area, and Auto Pound Trailer. The Department of Police has analyzed the bids received pursuant to Bid No. 01-02-127. Thirty- six (36) Invitations for Bids were mailed and four (4) responses were received. Temptrol Air Conditioning, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid and is, therefore recommended for the award.
