BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individuals are hereby appointed as members of the Miami Bayside Minority Foundation: APPOINTEES: Commissioner Arthur E. Teele Carole Ann Taylor Dwayne Wynn NOMINATED BY: Chairman Tomas Regalado Commissioner Arthur E. Teele Vice Chairman Johnny Winton Section 2. The term of Commissioner Arthur E. Teele as a member of the Miami Bayside Minority Foundation expires in 90 days or after two board meetings. We have existing tenants who want to experiment with a new concept who will start in a cart or stall. b) We allow existing tenants to change uses/concepts when their existing ones slow down or fail. c) We provide a list of new uses/concepts to existing tenants and new prospects so they can implement them at Bayside Marketplace. d) We try to suggest joint ventures and new business opportunities between minority and non -minority businesses - (i.e. - management of garage at Bayside Marketplace). As this commission is aware my stores have been closed since May with my stocks and merchandises. I just returned to Miami from Jamaica after burying my father and I must return immediately to finalize related matters. Mr. George Knox will be assisting me in working with the Foundation and the Rouse Company to resolve the matter at hand. I am encouraged by Mr. Knox's assurance that the matter will be worked out. I regret I will be unable to attend the meeting tomorrow but am most willing to participate in the dialog.
