O 2 � / O Z A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE BOARD FOR TERMS AS DESIGNATED HEREIN. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Thompson REFERENCES P June 13, 2002 Agenda City Clerk ENCLOSURES: List of Members, Resolution The International Trade Board was created to plan and implement the City's international trade promotion policies for the purposes of stimulating commercial and residential development and expending the City's tax base through the promotion of foreign trade and local investment in accordance with the bylaws adopted by the board. Fifteen members' terms expired on May 5, 2002: • Commissioner Sanchez has three nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Bob Rodriguez 2. Carole Ann Taylor 3. Rafael Garcia -Toledo, Jr. (exceeded the number of absences allowed per City Code) • Commissioner Teele has three nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Ralph Puga 2. Najib Tayara 3. Dwayne Wynn • Vice -Chairman Winton has three nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Fernando Figueredo 2. Ramon Flores 3. vacancy created because Antonio Villamil resigned • Chairman Regalado has three nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Antonio Llano Montes 2. Raymundo F. Escarra (exceeded the number of absences allowed per City Code) 3. Allen Sweeny • Commissioner Gonzalez has three nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Irma Solares 2. Ruben Valdes 3. Camilo Noguera, who does not comply with the City's residency requirements.
