HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-020-564J-02-473 5/14/02 RESOLUTION NO. 02— 564 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 02-362, ADOPTED APRIL 11, 2002, TO INCREASE THE ESTIMATED VALUE OF THE DONATION FROM THE DADE AMATEUR GOLF ASSOCIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,095.75, FROM $35,660 TO $43,755.75, TO INCLUDE REVENUES FROM CHARGE CARD ACCOUNTS NOT PREVIOUSLY REPORTED TO THE CITY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI FLORIDA: Section 1. Resolution No. 01-328, adopted April 26, 2001, is hereby amended in the following particulars:l/ "Resolution No. 02-362 Section 1. The donation of goods and services from Dade Amateur Golf Association from proceeds of the City of Miami Golf Classic held December 7, 2001, with an estimated value of $0 $43,755.75, consisting of revenues received from charqe card accounts, in the amount of $8,095.75, furnishings and equipment, valued at $12,660, and the installation of an ADA ii Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. As per the new records from Dade Amateur Golf Association and increasing the estimated value of the donation from $35,660 to $43,755.75 for the donation of furnishings and equipment to the Department of Parks and Recreation for use by the Programs for Persons with Disabilities at Kinloch Park. BACKGROUND: The previous Resolution No. 02-362 accepting the donation from the Dade Amateur Golf Association did not include the revenues received from charge card records, which revealed that an additional $8,095.75 of estimated value for the donations was received. Accordingly, adoption of the attached Resolution amends the previous resolution to reflect a more accurate amount donated by the Dade Amateur Golf Association from $35,660 to $43,755.75.
