RESOLUTION NO. 02— 5413
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
DECLARING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE PROHIBITIONS
AND RESTRICTIONS CONTAINED IN
SECTIONS 36-4(a) AND 36-5(a) OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, AS
RELATED TO THE LEVEL AND HOURS OF NOISE
RESULTING FROM FILMING A COMMERCIAL ON
MAY 16, 2002, IN THE EDGEWATER AREA AT
243 NORTHEAST 24TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA,
SUBJECT TO BELIEVE MEDIA, THE PRODUCTION
COMPANY, OBTAINING CONSENT FROM THE OWNERS
AND TENANTS OF THE AFFECTED PROPERTY(S) AT
SUCH FILMING LOCALITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. An exemption is declared from the
prohibitions and restrictions contained in Sections 36-4(a) and
36-5 (a) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended,
as related to the level and hours of noise resulting from the
filming a commercial on May 16, 2002, in the Edgewater area at
243 Northeast 24th Street, Miami, Florida, subject to Believe
Media, the production company, obtaining consent from

owners or tenants of the affected property(s) at each filming
locality.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/

1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
