A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE ENGAGEMENT OF THE LAW FIRM OF
YOAKLEY & STEWART, P.A. TO RENDER LEGAL
SERVICES CONCERNING THE LEASE AND DEVELOPMENT
OF WATSON ISLAND BY FLAGSTONE PROPERTIES, LLC,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,000, PLUS COSTS AS
APPROVED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY; ALLOCATING FUNDS
FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT ACCOUNT CODE
NO. 344102.239501.6.250, FOR SAID SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The engagement of the law firm of Yoakley &
Stewart, P.A. to render legal services concerning the lease and
development of Watson Island by Flagstone Properties, LLC, in
the amount of $200,000, plus costs as approved by the City
Attorney, is authorized, with funds allocated from Capital
Improvements Project Account Code No. 344102.239501.6.250, for
said services.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.1/

1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective
at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and
adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.

Engagement of the law firm of Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. for legal
services concerning the lease and development of Watson Island
by Flagstone Properties, LLC
The attached proposed Resolution seeks authorization for the engagement of the law
firm of Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. to render legal services concerning the lease and
development of Watson Island by Flagstone Properties, LLC in the amount of $200,000,
plus costs as approved by the City Attorney.
Funds will be allocated from Capital Improvements Project Account Code
No. 344102.239501.6.250

April 11, 2002, authorizing engagement of the law firm of Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. to render
legal services concerning the lease and development of Watson Island by Flagstone Properties,
LLC in the amount of $200,000, plus costs as approved by the City Attorney. Funds are
available from Capital Improvements Project Account Code No. 344102.239501.6.250.
Please indicate your review and approval by affixing your signature and returning this
original memorandum to Lugena Boles, Administrative Assistant, of this office as soon as
possible.
