A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
DEPARTMENTS OF FIRE -RESCUE, ASSET MANAGEMENT
AND PLANNING AND ZONING TO CONFER WITH THE
LITTLE HAITI COMMUNITY WHEN DEVELOPING SHORT
AND LONG-TERM PLANS RELATED TO THE TEMPORARY
AND FINAL DETERMINATION FOR HOUSING AND
RELOCATION OF FIRE STATION NO. 13, ITS
ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to instruct the
Departments of Fire -Rescue, Asset Management and Planning and
Zoning to confer with the Little Haiti community when developing
short and long-term plans related to the temporary and final
determination for housing and relocation of Fire Station No. 13,
its associated equipment and personnel.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor Y
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of March / 2002.

1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
