Home My WebLink AboutR-02-0266J-02-170 3/4/02 RESOLUTION NO. 02— 266 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID OF MCO CONSTRUCTION & SERVICES, INC., THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS, DATED DECEMBER 18, 2001, FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "MIAMI POLICE UPPER EASTSIDE SUB -STATION -- ROOF REPLACEMENT, B-6369", IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,500; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 312025, AS APPROPRIATED BY THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,500 FOR THE CONTRACT COSTS, AND $3,485.50 FOR EXPENSES, FOR A TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF $22,985.50; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid of MCO Construction & Services, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to Invitation for Bids, dated December 18, 2001, in the proposed amount of $19,500, for the project entitled "Miami Police Upper CITY C%0V=S$J0 ' rgzF. � -a ,W, h .R 2002 �3a�a9uliai�, . 4" 1 4K, 0 0 Eastside Sub -Station Roof Replacement, B-6369", for the total bid of the proposal, based on lump sum and unit prices, :is accepted at the price stated herein. Section 2. The total estimated project costs of $19,500 are allocated from Capital Improvements Project No. 312025, as appropriated by the Annual Appropriations and Capital Improvements Ordinances, as amended. Total project costs consist of $19,500 for contract costs and $3,485.50 for estimated expenses incurred by the City. Section 3. The City Manager is authorizedl� to execute an agreement, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with MCO Construction & Services, Inc. for the project. Section 4.
