A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION,
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PRESENT A
REPORT TO THE CITY COMMISSION RELATED TO THE
IMMEDIATE AND EXPEDITIOUS ACQUISITION OF TWO
PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT 934 NORTHWEST 2Np
COURT AND 930 NORTHWEST 2" COURT, MIAMI,
FLORIDA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OVERTOWN
NET OFFICE/POLICE SUB -STATION FACILITY, SAID
ACQUISITION TO BE CONTINGENT UPON THE RECEIPT
BY THE CITY OF AN IN-KIND GRANT FROM THE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA") UNDER
A `CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK' CONTRACT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to present a
report to the City Commission related to the immediate and
expeditious acquisition of two parcels of land located at
934 Northwest 2nd court and 930 Northwest 2nd Court, Miami,
Florida (Folio Nos. 01-0302-060-1060 and 01-0102-060-1.120,
respectively), for the construction of an Overtown Net
Office/Police Sub -Station facility, said acquisition contingent
upon the receipt by the City of an in-kind grant from the
CITY COMMISSION

Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") under a `Construction
Manager At Risk' contract.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/

if the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date iL was
passed and adopted. if the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
