FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, UNDER EXISTING CITY OF MIAMI CONTRACT NO. 99-00-134, EFFECTIVE UNTIL AUGUST 10, 2002, AND SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $18,360; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND, PROJECT NO. 690003, SUCH EXPENDITURES HAVING BEEN APPROVED BY THE CHIEF OF POLICE AS COMPLYING WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY'S "GUIDE TO EQUITABLE SHARING." BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The leasing of two vehicles, from InterAmerican Car Rental, Inc. for the Department of Police under existing City of Miami Contract No. 99--00--134, effective until August 10, 2002, and subject to any extensions, with the option to renew for one additional year, in an amount not to exceed $18,360, with funds allocated from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, Project No. 690003, such expenditures having been approved jcwyCESSION JAN � tt M2 4------------- • • by the Chief of Police as complying with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's "Guide To Equitable Sharing." LeJeune Road, Miami, FL 33126, for the Auto Theft Unit of the Police Department, utilizing existing City of Miami Bid No. 99-00-134, effective until August 10, 2002, with the option to extend for one (1) additional year, in an amount not to exceed $18,360. Funds are available from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, Project Number 690003.
