PETITION Consideration of amending Ordinance 11000, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, by amending Article 4, Section 401, Schedule of District Regulations, in order to modify provisions related to offsite parking regulations for residential uses in the "CBD" Central Business District zoning classification. PLANNING RECOMMENDATION Recommended approval. BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS The attached Ordinance would allow offsite parking for residential uses in the Central Business District to be located offsite within parking garage structures. This amendment encourages the shared nature of parking garage spaces by allowing them to be used during day and night hours and therefore reduces the need for overbuilding of parking and having empty parking spaces during night hours.
