The Miami -Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) is seeking the
services of qualified firms to provide Construction Engineering
and Inspection (CEI) oversight services for the construction of
a design/build project in the MDX Five -Year Work Program:
MDX Project No. 836-012 (SR 836 Westbound connection to
Southbound Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike
[HEFT]). The Project's overall construction period is estimated
to be approximately 26 months, beginning in April 2003. MDX

de una hora de recibir la inyecci6n
letal por el brutal asesinato de la
anciana de 68 anos Natalie "Tillie"
Brady, de Tarpon Springs, se recibi6
la orden de suspender la ejecuci6n
de Amos Lee King Jr.
El Gobernador Jeb Bush orden6
la suspensi6n pendiente de nuevas
pruebas de laboratorio con evi-
dencia de DNA encontrada en 1977
cuando la senora Brady fue ase-
sinada. Ella fue violada sexual-
mente, estrangulada, apunaleada
y dejada sin vida en la puerta tra-
sera de su vivienda en llamas.
En una declaraci6n el Goberna-
dor dijo: "Es totalmente apropia-
do que demoremos la ejecuci6n
hasta que podamos determinar
que todas las pruebas de labora-
torio con DNA han sido comple-
tadas". La ejecuci6n ha sido fijada
nuevamente para el 8 de enero.
Esta es la segunda vez en una
semana que se suspende la eje-
cuci6n y fue despu6s de que el abo-
gado Barry Scheck-miembro del
equipo de abogados de O.J. Simp-
son y que ayud6 a la formaci6n
del Proyecto Inocencia, un grupo
no lucrativo- se reuniera con la
asesora general asistente del Go-
bernador, Wendy Berger. El grupo
no lucrativo defiende casos pos-

BUENOS AIRES, (AFP) - La Corte Suprema de Justicia argentina
