Edmond Croughwell, the Board approved a motion (3-2) recommending that Lt. Croughwell be suspended for 80 hours due to the Board's finding of an abuse of power. Lt. Croughwell was called before the Board to show cause why the 80 -hour suspension should not be imposed against him. After hearing the facts of the case, the Board decided, by a (4-1) vote that Lt. Croughwell receive a reprimand only in lieu of the 80 -hour suspension.
