net Type II software and accessories for the City of Miami Fire -Rescue
Department from Motorola, Inc., a Miami-Dade/non-minority vendor locat
ed at 4660 S.W. 158th Ave., Miami, FL 33183, on an as needed contract
basis, for the initial term of one (1) year with the option to renew for one (1)
additional year, at an estimated annual cost not to exceed $510,871.50
for the first year and $334,974.60 for the 2nd contract year, for a total con-
tract cost not to exceed $845,846.10

A LA RESOLUCION No. 02-831
Una Elecci6n Especial Municipal se Ilevare a cabo el martes
5 de noviembre del 2002, desde las 7:00 A.M. hasta las 7:00
P.M. en la Ciudad de Miami, Florida, en los centros de votaci6n
de los diferentes precintos electorales establecidos por la
Junta de Comisionados del Condado Miami -Dade, tal y como
aqui se detalla, a menos que la ley estipule to contrario, con
el prop6sito de someter a votaci6n a los electores calificados
en la Ciudad de Miami, Florida, el siguiente cuestionamiento:
LDebere enmendarse la Carta Constitutiva de la
Ciudad de Miami a fin de aumentar el sueldo de
los Comisionados de la Ciudad para que este
sea el 60% del sueldo del Alcalde vigente el 9
de julio del 2002, to que seria de $57,600; con
un aumento anual basado en el Indice de Pre
cios al Consumidor (Consumer Price index) y
que no podre exceder un 5% del sueldo vigente
en esa fecha; y que dicho aumento entre en
vigor inmediatamente?
La Enmienda Constitutiva No.1 estipula una enmienda a la
remuneraci6n que reciben los Comisionados de la Ciudad,
estableciendo como sueldo inicial el sesenta por ciento (60%)
del sueldo del Alcalde vigente el 9 de judo del 2002, y que
seria en efecto $57,600; adem6s Ileva un aumento anual de
ahi en adelante que estare basado en el Indice de Precios al
Consumidor (Consumer Price Index) y dicho aumento no
podre exceder un 5% del sueldo existente en esa fecha.
