Concurred with the Board. 04/02/02 Jose Romano Grievance Found that there was an abuse of power (Awaiting City Manager's Prin. Staff Auditor Rule 16.1 demonstrated by the Department Judgment.) Director of Community Development. Recommended that the City Manager issue a reprimand to Ms. Gwendolyn Warren, Director, Department of Community Development based upon the Board's finding of an abuse of power and that Mr. Romano be considered for additional compensation as a result of what he has been through while assigned to the Department of Community Development, 04/16/02 Edmond Show Cause As a result of a complaint made by Croughwell Hearing Identification Technician Rafael Garcia Police Lieutenant against Lt. Edmond Croughwell, the Board approved a motion (3-2) recommending that Lt. Croughwell be suspended for 80 hours due to the Board's finding of an abuse of power. Lt. Croughwell was called before the Board to show cause why the 80 -hour suspension should not be imposed against him. After hearing the facts of the case, the Board decided, by a (4-1) vote that Lt. Croughwell receive a reprimand only in lieu of the 80 -hour suspension.
