TIQN � KVs V. �i T - (Awaiting City Manager's Judgment) 03/05/02 Johnnie Mathis 20 -Hour Found Officer Mathis guilty of all 5 02-02D Police Officer Forfeiture charges and recommended to the City Manager that the Department Director's decision to impose a 20 -hour forfeiture of earned overtime be upheld. 04/02/02 Jose Romano Grievance Found that there was an abuse of power (Awaiting City Manager's Judgment.) Prin. Staff Auditor Rule 16.1 demonstrated by the Department Director of Community Development. Recommended that the City Manager issue a reprimand to Ms. Gwendolyn Warren, Director, Department of Community Development based upon the Board's finding of an abuse of power and that Mr. Romano be considered for additional compensation as a result of what he has been through while assigned to the Department of Community Development. 04/16/02 Edmond Croughwell Show Cause As a result of a complaint made by N/A Police Lieutenant Hearing Identification Technician Rafael Garcia against Lt. Edmond- Croughwell, the Board approved a motion (3-2) recommending that Lt. Croughwell be suspended for 80 hours due to the Board's finding of an abuse of power. Lt. Croughwell was called before the Board to show cause why the 80 -hour suspension should not be imposed against him. After hearing the facts of the case, the Board decided, by a (4-1) vote that Lt. Croughwell receive a reprimand only in lieu of the 80 -hour suspension.
