Thompson City Clerk How does the - urrent construct" )n at 2542 S.W. 25th Avenue compare to an automobile showroom or garage? Please keep the these images in mind when viewing the answers on the following pages. The residents of Silver Bluff are not just concerned for their individual property values but for the safety of the children attending the nearby elementary school as well. 2542 S.W. 25 Avenue _ Permits list Palmetto Bay Corporation as the C3D C-D Q property owner. This is significantly more than what would be necessary for the drainage of rain water. Pavers extend from the sidewalk -up to the tile, taking the -form of sidewalk of a famp, The aluminum fence is made up of two panels and a center column, between each pair of concrete block columns. It is buried into the ground, but upon closer inspection concrete was not evident. -ex, w aw Awk-a- y C EI Above each opening is an electrical plate. Like one would anticipate having for a garage door opener. On every column is what appears to be the matching switch. A little better detail of the same electrical plates from the picture above. Note tnat all outlets are of the heavy duty or of the outdoor variety even though the showroom is covered. Also note that there is lighting over each bay, but not of heavy duty material and not weatherproof. Vents of these nature are typically seen on commercial JU'H garages Silver Bluff Elementary Approximately 130 yds 2542 S.W. 25th Ave. Ultimately, this is an issue of perception and trust. The residents of Silver Bluff have been lead to believe and perceive this structure to be a commercial property, a garage or automobile showroom. This perception is not difficult to conceive, as demonstrated by the previous images, it is not a stretch of the imagination. Do we trust the the City of Miami, Building and Zoning and N.E.T. to take the appropriate action, once the final inspection is passed and the "heat" is off, if the use of the property changes? Ultimately the City of Miami must decide if this is a garage/automobile showroom masquerading as a single family home or is this a single family home designed as a garage. Regardless of the decision we, the residents of Silver Bluff that have signed this petition, feel that the design of the structure is not appropriate and detracts from the community at large and will ultimately lower our property values. ., — .. There is a garage for eight or nine cars, the entire front yard is paved, and the building is totally incompatible with other homes in the area. It would be the beginning of a commercial intrusion into this neighborhood founded in 1926. We want the construction torn down or converted into a genuine residence. c-YQ X53 C cJ(per . os SS 7- 0 3 7 7- (1..1?EiDSdNZtFL D° w• rd y p,' `,r( Zq 3y'. c 1 Y` UL6•lloa -acj -5 A /t°_ A -' ins -- 860 _ 6 !
