Mr. D'Mant's career evolved for over 30 years. His personal style of radio set him apart from other radio commentators. He brought several issues to the public and assisted in many humanitarian causes enlisting his listeners to participate and contribute. Carlos D'Mant was an integral part of the City of Miami, therefore, I respectfully request that SW 3rd Street from 27th Avenue to 37th Avenue be renamed after Carlos D'Mant. In addition, I respectfully request that To further discuss this issues, I request that this item be placed at the next City Commission meeting on March 14, 2002.
