Walsh retired as the Arcbdiocesean Director or the Catholic Charities of the Archdincest of Miami in 32npary 1996, He had worked in Catholic Charities since 1935. Monsignor Walsh was born in Portarlingtoo, Co, Offaly, Ireland on the Feast of Corpus Christi, dune ISI, 1930, 1a 1933, he moved with his family to Limerick He attended the Modal School, 1936.1942. Creace"t College, S.3., 1942-1948, hfungret College, School of PhiMgophy 1948-1950. From 1950-1954. he studied at St. Mary's University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, where he earned a Bachelor In Sacred Theology (1952) and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (1954). He was ordained to the priesthood May 23. 1994 In St. Augustint Florida for the Diocese of St, Augustint. From 1957 to 1958 he served as Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Augustine.
