ENCLOSURES:
As you are aware, the Commission approved the new Bus Bench Agreement with
Sarmiento at the regular Commission meeting of December 13, 2001 (Item 33).
During the discussion of this item, the Commission directed the Administration to
do the following:
1. Hold neighborhood workshops to discuss the contract and gather feedback
from the residents concerning the advertising component prior to the
January 10, 2002 Commission meeting.
2. Schedule a Public Hearing for the January 10, 2002, Regular Commission
meeting to allow discussion concerning the advertising component of the new
Bus Bench Agreement for the Commission to receive input and then give
direction to the Administration as deemed appropriate.
Please be advised that the neighborhood workshops will have been conducted as
directed by the January 10th Commission meeting and that the Public Hearing will
be duly scheduled and advertised to take place at a time certain of 5:00 p.m.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, on January
10, 2002, at 5:00 pm, in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of discussing the advertising component
of the new Bus Bench Agreement and for the City Commission to receive input from the
public and direct the Administration as appropriate.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning this
Resolution. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission
with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon
which any appeal may be based.

Administration will be conducting neighborhood workshops to,
present the new Sus Bench Agreement between the City and
Sarmiento Advertising Group, L,L.C., as well as the proposed
amendment to the Code regarding same. The following Is a
