HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-03-1007J-03-828 9/11/03 RESOLUTION NO. 93-1007 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF CITYWIDE STORM WATER INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM CLEANING FROM ENVIROWASTE SERVICE GROUP, INC., FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PURCHASING, TO BE USED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MUNICIPAL SERVICES, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, UNDER EXISTING MIAMI-DADE COUNTY CONTRACT NO. 629528, THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WHICH SHALL APPLY EFFECTIVE THROUGH JUNE 9, 2004, SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS THERETO BY MIAMI-DADE COUNTY; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM PUBLIC WORKS STORMWATER UTILITY TRUST FUND ACCOUNT NO. 001000.311003.6.340, IN THE AMOUNT OF $697,500 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COSTS AND $52,500 FOR ESTIMATED EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY, FOR AN ESTIMATED TOTAL COST OF $750,000 FOR THE PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The procurement of Citywide storm water infrastructure system cleaning from Envirowaste Service Group, Inc., for the Department of Purchasing, to be used by the Public Works Division of the Department of Municipal Services, on an as -needed contract basis, under existing Miami -Dade County Contract No. 629528, the terms and conditions of which shall apply effective through June 9, 2004, subject to any extensions CITY COMi1 MOH MEETING M 5 E E 1 1. 2003 Resolution No. 03 -1 007 6 thereto by Miami -Dade County, is approved and accepted, with funds allocated from Public Works Stormwater Utility Trust Fund Account No. 001000.311003.6.340, in the amount of $697,500 to cover the contract costs and $52,500 for estimated expenses incurred by the City, for an estimated total cost of $750,000 for the project. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.11 PASSED AND ADOPTED this lith day of September 2003. ".66 EL A.
