HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-03-0984RESOLUTION NO. 03,984 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH FLORIDA WORKFORCE BOARD, FOR TERMS AS DESIGNATED HEREIN. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Daniel Fils-Aime, Sr., Alphonso Townsel, Richard Horton, Carla Harris and Frank Carollo are appointed as members of the South Florida Workforce Board, each to serve a two year term. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11"' day of September, 2003. This Administrative Act shall become effective immediately. PRISCILLA A. BACKGROUND: The following individuals are recommended for appointment as members of the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium: 1. Daniel Fils-Aime, Sr., President of Miami Mini Bus Transportation Service, Inc. 2. Alphonso Townsel, President of Al Townsel, Inc. 3. Richard Horton, Executive Vice President of The Green Companies, Inc. 4. Carla Harris, Entrepreneur, HeavenSent Consultants, Inc. It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution appointing Daniel Fils-Aime, Sr., Alphonso Townsel, Richard Horton and Carla Harris as members of the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium for a two year term.
