BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individuals are hereby appointed by the Commission at -Large as members of the Coconut Grove Parking Advisory Committee, each to serve a term expiring July 26, 2004: APPOINTEES: Silvano Bignon Andy Louis Charles Elena Carpenter Allen Sweeny Section 2. Nine appointments are needed at this time for terms which expired on July 26, 2003: • The Commission At -Large has 4 appointments to make for seats currently held by: 1. Sylvano Bignon 2. Andy Louis Charles 3. Elena Carpenter 4. Allen Sweeny • The Commission At -Large is requested to confirm the reappointments of the following four individuals recommended by the Coconut Grove Village Council. 1. Sue Billig 2. John Holcombe 3. Kathleen Morris 4. Valerie Ricordi • The Commission At -Large is requested to confirm the reappointment of Robert Masrieh who is recommended by the Off -Street Parking Authority. Mr. Masrieh has served as a member since July 26, 1994. Pursuant to Code Sec. 2-825(b), no board member shall serve more than eight consecutive years on any one board. This requirement may be waived by a unanimous vote of the members of the City Commission. For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting the Agenda Office to place this issue on the September 11, 2003 Commission agenda. This matter was deferred from the July 24, 2003 Commission meeting.
