WHEREAS, on July 24, 2 b is adoption of Resolution
No. 03-903, the Cit ommission rected the City Attorney to
prepare a proposed rter Ame ent to amend the provision in the
Charter on co ti o $5 00, which is sixty percent(60%) of
the Mayor's ala ffect as of July 16, 2003, and to provide
for a nua increa based on the Consumer Price Index which
an in se of exceed five percent (5%) of the salary on

AS, the proposed Charter Amendment is set forth in its
final form in this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment shall be submitted to the
electorate at the Special Municipal Election to be held on
