A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT FOR LEGAL
SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF MIAMI IN
CONNECTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CIVIC
CENTER SITE LOCATED AT NORTHWEST 17TH AND 18TH
STREETS AND NORTHWEST 14TH AND 15TH AVENUES,
MIAMI, FLORIDA, AND RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL
ISSUES FOR THE ADJACENT SITE; ALLOCATING FUNDS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000, PLUS COSTS AS
APPROVED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY FROM ACCOUNT CODE
NO. 001000.920205.6.250 FOR SAID PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The continued engagement of legal services
for development of the Civic Center Site located at Northwest
17th and 18th Streets and Northwest 14th and 15th Avenues, Miami,
Florida, and related environmental issues for the adjacent site,
is authorized, with funds, in the amount of $75,000, plus costs
as approved by the City Attorney, allocated from Account Code
No. 001000.920205.6.250 for said purpose.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.!'

�i If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.

Continued ef legal services related to development of the
Civic Cente adjacent site environmental issues. (J-03-615)
The attached proposed Resolution seeks authorization for the continued engagement of '
legal services provided to the City of Miami in connection with the development of the
Civic Center site located at Northwest 17th and 181' Streets and Northwest le and 15th
Avenues, Miami, Florida, and related environmental issues for the adjacent site, in the
amount of $75,000, plus costs as approved by the City Attorney. Funds for the services will
be allocated from Account Code No. 001000.920205.6.250.
Previously, Resolution No. 02-782, adopted July 9, 2002, approved the allocation of
$25,000 for legal services. Approval of this Resolution will bring the total amount allocated
to $100,000, plus costs.
