RESOLUTION NO. 03— 681
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
ACCEPTING THE BID OF MARIN & MARIN
CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED
"LEGION PARK SHORELINE STABILIZATION,
B-3298", IN THE AMOUNT OF $128,900;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY
ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE; ALLOCATING FUNDS
FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO.
331312, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $128,900
FOR CONTRACT COSTS, AND $51,100 TO COVER
ESTIMATED EXPENSES TO BE INCURRED BY THE
CITY, FOR A TOTAL COST OF $180,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Marin & Marin Construction, Inc.,
in the proposed amount of $128,900, for the project entitled
"LEGION PARK SHORELINE STABILIZATION, B-3298," is accepted, for
the total bid of the proposal, based on lump sum and unit
prices.
Section 2. The total estimated costs in an amount not
to exceed $180,000 is allocated from Capital Improvements
Project No. 331312, for funds to cover construction contract
costs in the amount of $128,900, and $51,100 for expenses to be

incurred by the City.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorizedll to execute
an Agreement, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with
MARIN & MARIN CONSTRUCTION, INC. for the said Project.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayoral
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June—, 2003.

1� The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with
all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney,
including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable
provisions of the City Charter and Code.
If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
