HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-03-0678J-03-490 05/29/03 �+ RESOLUTION NO. 03- 6 7 8 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REQUEST THAT THE CITY ATTORNEY INITIATE ANY AND ALL ACTION, IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, RELATED TO EVICTIONS FROM CITY PROPERTY FOR NON- COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS OF ANY AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO WITH THE CITY OF MIAMI. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized!/ to request that the City Attorney initiate any and all action, in law or in equity, related to evictions from City property for non-compliance with the terms of any agreement entered into with the City of Miami. �i The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission. The attached resolution allows the City Manager to request the City Attorney take action, rather than requiring the City Commission to authorize each eviction.
