Meeting
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution directing
the City Attorney to take all actions necessary, including filing suit, to evict any and all occupants
of the City -owned property located at approximately 400-30 SW 8 Avenue, Miami, Florida.
BACKGROUND:
The City currently owns a parcel of land located at 400-30 SW 8 Avenue. This property was
conveyed to the City as a result of the dissolution of Miami Capital and certain tenants remain in
place. By separate resolution, the administration is requesting the City Commission surplus this
property and authorize the City Manager to sell same subject to City Commission approval of the
negotiated purchase and sale agreement. In order to sell the property, it is necessary to remove
the tenants from the premises so that the property can be conveyed free and clear.
