V 502 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500, TO SUPPORT COSTS RELATED TO THE THIRD AFRICAN AMERICAN -CARIBBEAN HERITAGE MONTH DISTINGUISHED SONS & DAUGHTERS LEADERSHIP AWARDS LUNCHEON, ON SUNDAY MAY 18, 2003, FOR LIBERTY CITY/BROWNSVILLE BUSINESSES, CHURCHES, HOMEOWNERS, SCHOOLS AND TENANTS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE DISTRICT 5 OFFICE BUDGET, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The allocation of funds, in an amount not to exceed $500, to support costs related to the African American -Caribbean Heritage Month Distinguished Sons & Daughters Leadership Awards Luncheon on Sunday May 18, 2003, is approved, for Liberty City -Brownsville businesses, churches, homeowners, schools and tenants, with funds allocated from the District 5 Office Budget, subject to budgetary approval.
