BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Boy, does time fly when you're having fun! I have been proud to serve as your appointee and honored to have served as Chairman of the WAB for the past two and one half years. However, in light of my new responsibilities with the City, I am no longer able to devote the proper amount of time and attention to the Board as I have in the past. Accordingly, by way of this letter, I am submitting my resignation from the WAB, effective May 14, 2003. I have several excellent candidates for my vacated position; I'll send their names to you under separate cover. Your other appointee, Ms. Wendy Kamilar, was an excellent choice; I know she will serve you well as one of your representatives on the WAB. Once again, I would like to thank you for the opportunity and the honor to serve, not only your office and our district, but also my City.
