RESOLUTION NO. — 399
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OF THE VENUE COST
ONLY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000, FOR
USE OF THE MIAMI SPORTS AND EXHIBITION CENTER
FOR THE AIDS/HIV CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR
MONDAY, * APRIL 21, 2003, CONDUCTED BY THE
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY,
INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The reimbursement of the venue cost only, in
an amount not to exceed $10,000, for use of the Miami Sports and
Exhibition Center for the AIDS/HIV Conference scheduled for
Monday,*APRIL 21, 2003, conducted by the Miami -Dade County
School Board, in conjunction with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Inc., is authorized.

Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.11

�i If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City
Commission.

We have received Resolution 03-399 (passed on April 10, 2003).
Christian from Commissioner Teele's office brought to our attention
that the date of the event was April 21, 2003. The resolution states
April 14, 2003. The Mayor already signed this resolution. If you
wish to correct page 1, it will not affect signatures and we can
replace page 1. If you authorize us to correct it via white out and a
typewriter, we can do so. Please advise.
