RESOLUTION NO. 03— 010
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT OF
THE LAW OFFICES OF ROBERT S. GLAZIER FOR
REPRESENTATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IN
VARIOUS APPELLATE MATTERS IN AN AGGREGATE
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $100,000, PLUS COSTS
AS APPROVED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM VARIOUS
SELF INSURANCE AND INSURANCE TRUST FUND
ACCOUNTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The continued engagement of the Law Offices
of Robert S. Glazier for representation of the City of Miami in
various appellate matters in an aggregate amount not to exceed
$100,000, plus costs as approved by the City Attorney, is
authorized, with funds allocated from various Self -Insurance
Trust and Insurance Trust Fund Accounts.

1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.

Continued engagement of the law offices of Robert S. Glazier for
representation of the City of Miami in various appellate matters (J-03-005)
The attached proposed Resolution seeks authorization for the continued
engagement of the law offices of Robert S. Glazier for representation of the City of
Miami in various appellate matters, in an aggravate amount of $100,000 plus costs as
approved by the City Attorney. The services of Attorney Glazier were obtained when
the Assistant City Attorney Myrna Bricker who handled the City's appellate cases,
became terminally ill.
Resolution No. 01-1164, adopted October 25, 2001, approved the allocation of
$25,000. Approval of this Resolution will bring the total amount to $125,000.
Funds will be allocated from various City of Miami Self -Insurance and Insurance
Trust Fund Accounts.
