In this year 2003, VIVA MIAMI and CICAMEX once again will be holding the following Event, Carnaval Independencia Centro America & Mexico, this coming September 14m. To celebrate the Independence day of five Centro American countries and Mexico. We are counting on your generous sponsorship, which will be turned into Scholarships for the under- privileged Latin American youngsters. These scholarships will allow our kids to reach their goal of higher education, will provide the necessary tools for them to compete for the important, decision-making positions in their communities, and will in general make them better members of our society. All our Events focus on the Cultural and Traditional activities of our Latin Community. Thanks to companies such as Budweiser, Corona, Modelo, Western Union, Coca-Cola, Sara Lee, Americatel (10-10-123), Taca Airlines, Flor de Cana, Sprint, AT & T Wireless, Bacardi, AT & T Broadband and CAMACOL, just to mention a few, our Latin American Children have been able to reach their goals to further their education. We also give our thanks to the Local and National Media, LTV Networks, T 51, Univisioo-Channel 23, AT & T Broadband-MiaVision-Channel 13, America TV -Channel 41, La Gran Cadena, Salsa, ZOL, El Nuevo Herald, Diano las Americas, El Nicaraguense Newspaper, and la Prensa Centro Americana, for all their donations and help with our projects, and most of our Events are free - to -the public. The City of Miami and DADE County have also been major contributing forces to better relations and community understanding of our Latin American Culture and Traditions. Without the help and support of Mayors Alex Penelas (Dade County) and Manny Diaz (City of Miami, Councilmen Joe Sanchez, Tomas Regalado and Mr. Bruno Barreiro, to mention a couple, these NON -Profit, free to the public Community Events could not have taken place. Folkloric groups from all the countries, Maxie% Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica, celebrating their Independence Day will parade up and down the Events' Streets. 2. A Cavalry of Horses, from the Mexxm Community in West Palm Broward County, will also make their appearance Together with tha we will have four renown Top Mexican Singing Chros', "El Gallo de Oro' direct from Mexico, "El Puma de Sinaloa" +Direct from California, "Valente Ferro" he is the one who opens all Concerts for Juan Gabriel and our "Grand Marshal" PABLO Q TINTERG. 3. Los Mariachi's Band "Morariaga" will also pgrb-mpae in the parade. 4 4. Local School Bands will participate. 3. A Cuban mounted Cavalry will join us in honoring the countries celebrating thein' Independence Day. 6. The councils from Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua, have confirmed their participation in the Liberty Parade_ 7. Telemundo -Chanel 5l, La Gran Cadens Radio and 991A1t42; Radio will transmit live the, Dews cast from the Event and the Parade. 8. The Miccosukces Indian Tribe will also participate in the Liberty Parade. 10. The Majors of Florida City, City of Afiarni and City of Sweetwater will participate in the Liberty Parade, as well as the Major of Dade County. 11.
