Chairwoman King & Honorable Commissioners,
Please accept this letter into the record for consideration of an ordinance on 2"d reading for
adoption by City Commission (Item PZ.8 on January 12, 2023 agenda) with respect to amendments
to Miami 21 Code of Ordinances by way of additional side and rear setback standards introduced in
Article 5, Section 5.4.2.b, Section 5.5.2.b, and Section 5.6.2.c when a lot abuts an existing single family
residence building.
The following projects have passed pre-screen with respect to a special permit application
submitted by this Firm in reliance on the existing standards pursuant to Miami 21 Article 5, as
applicable to the property, in advance of formal consideration and/or adoption of this Ordinance by
the City Commission and should respectfully be considered vested and allowed to proceed under
current side/rear setback standards.
