In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: * t 1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG in the economic development funds in the amount of $454,107.00 to the Department of Real Estate and Asset Management ("DREAM") as described below: Agencies/Department Description of Services CDBG ED Funding FY:2022.23 Department of Real Estate and Asset Management Eligible CDBG activity $454,107.00 Department of Housing and Community Development To be allocated $1,892,654.00 Total CDBG Economic Development Allocation: $2,346,761.00 2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG in the Public Service funds in the amount of $184,868.45 to Allapattah Community Action, Inc., for public service activities, as described below: From: To: Description of Services: Amount: Department of Housing and Allapattah Community Elderly Meals $184,868.45 Community Development Center, Inc. Total CDBG PS Fund $184,868.45 Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the acceptance of the additional Emergency Rental Assistance 2 (`ERA 2") funds in the amount of $5,518,130.34 from United States Department of the Treasury and authorizing the allocation of such funds to provide assistance to eligible household through the existing City's Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Discuss and proposed resolution by a four -fifths (4/5ths) affirmative vote, after an advertised public hearing, ratifying, approving, and confirming the City Manager's finding that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable or advantageous, pursuant to section 18-85(a) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended; waiving the requirements for said procedures; authorizing the allocation of funds, in the amount of $150,500.00 to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc/Meyers Center, Inc. * The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan. t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begin on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, and ends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than November 15, 2022. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
