Collective Bargaining Agreement -
At its October 27, 2022, meeting, the City Commission adopted the above referenced
agenda item, RE.14, approving, subject to ratification by the respective union, the Amendment to
Article 42.6 (Pension) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, between the City of Miami and
the Miami General Employees American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees
Local 871, AFL-CIO, in effect for the period of October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2023.
The item inadvertently published with an incorrect description of the effective date.
The Legislation has been corrected and incremented to Revision A.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
RATIFYING THE AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 42.6 (PENSION) OF THE
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT, BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI
AND THE EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION KNOWN AS THE MIAMI GENERAL
EMPLOYEES AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES LOCAL 871, AFL-CIO, IN EFFECT FOR THE
PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2020 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2023.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Amendment to Article 42.6 (Pension) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement,
between the City of Miami and the Miami General Employees American Federation of State, County,
and Municipal Employees Local 871, AFL-CIO, in effect for the period of October 1, 2020 through
September 30, 2023, is approved subject to ratification by the respective union.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.

' If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
