3. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the acceptance of Housing Choice Voucher ("HCV") Program funds for
fiscal year 2022-2023 in the total amount of $91,665.00 from HUD to provide assistance to very low-income families,
the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing.
" The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s),
authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.
t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begin on
Tuesday, September 27, 2022, and ends on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City
Commission for approval on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami
Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address).
Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later
than October 25, 2022. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the
handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the
public hearing date.
