MIAMI CITY HALL 3500 Pan American Dr, Miami FI 33133 Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: * t 1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the Public Service category, in the amount of $817,619.10, and previous year's CDBG program income in the amount of $33,126.35 for a total amount not to exceed $850,745.45 to the agencies and/or departments, as specified below for public service activities for FY2022-23 Agency Description of Services CDBG Public Service FY:2022-23 Camillus House, Inc. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds for FY 2022-23 in the amount of $2,943,016.10 in the Economic Development category, to the agencies and/or departments as specified below for economic development activities beginning October 1, 2022. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of the program income generated from April 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022, in the total amount of $196,481.48 to the activities specified in the table below, which are eligible CDBG activities. The review and comment period begin on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, and ends on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than October 12, 2022. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
