CITY COMMISSION MEETING
Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 9:00 A.M.
Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with
reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In
addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated

1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the acceptance of HUD Entitlement Grant Funds, in the total amount of
$22,574,609.00 for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 for the following programs:
CDBG: $5,450,794.00 HOME: $3,938,299.00 ESG: $478,240.00 HOPWA: $12,707,276.00
2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds by program category for FY:2022-2023 in the amount

6. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the acceptance of Section 8 Housing Program funds for FY2022-23, in the projected
amount of $4,653,800.00 for rental assistance, and in the projected amount of $482,900.00 for program administration, for a total
projected amount of $5,136,700.00
7. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the execution of a Professional Management Services Agreement with Martin Luther
King Economic Development Corporation ("MLKEDC") forthe City of Miami owned properties, located at 750 and 754 NW 70 street,
Miami, Florida, 33150.
8. Discuss and proposed resolution to approve a modification in the proposed project by Community Development Group, Inc., a
Florida Corporation ("Developer"), on the City of Miami ("City") owned property located at 6820 NW 17 Avenue, Miami, Florida, from
an affordable homeownership project to an affordable rental housing for eligible low to moderate income persons.
9. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to convey, with affordable housing restrictions and automatic reverter
provisions, the City of Miami ("City") owned properties located at 1755 NW 2 Ct and 6245 NW 1 Ct, Miami, Florida ("Properties"), to
SMV Capital Group, LLC., ("Developer"), for the development of affordable homeownership housing.
"The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/amendment(s),
authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.
t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period
begin on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 and ends on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the
City Commission for approval on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami
Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address).
Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no
later than July 12, 2022. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the
handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to
the public hearing date.
