RESOLUTION NO. 0 07
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARKWEST COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA") AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ISSUE GRANTS TO THE
THREE OWNERS OF REAL ESTATE AFFECTED BY. THE
3PJD AVENUE EXTENSION OF THE 9TH STREET
PEDESTRIAN MALL, FOR ELECTRICAL CONVERSION,
PURSUANT TO SEOPW RESOLUTION NO. R-02-19, IN
A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $17,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARKWEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully
set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Board of directors authorizes the
Executive Director to issue grants to the three owners of real
estate affected by the 3rd Avenue Extension of the 9th Street
Pedestrian Mall, for electrical conversion, pursuant to SEOPW
Resolution No. R-02-19, in a total amount not to exceed $17,000.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.

RECOMMENDATION
It is respectfully recommended that the CRA Board of Directors approve the attached resolution
authorizing the Executive Director, pursuant to SEOPW Resolution No. R-02-19, to issue in -kind grants
not to exceed a sum total of $17,000.00 to the three property owners, as attached, affected by the 3`d
Avenue extension of the 9th Street Pedestrian Mall, as it relates to the electrical conversion.
JUSTIFICATION
•As the next phase completion of the CRA Board approved project, N.W. Third Avenue Extension to the
N.W. 9th Street Pedestrian Mall, the next transitional phase is to connect the existing electrical
conversion, on privately owned property, and do the new underground connection.

KIND GRANTS TO PROPERTY OWNERS LOCATED ALONG THE NW 3an
AVENUE EXTENSION TO THE 9' STREET PEDESTRIAN MALL FOR
THE UPGRADE OF CURRENT EXISTING FENCES, OR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW "CONFORMING FENCES," AND
LANDSCAPING AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR TO PROVIDE IN -KIND GRANTS TO AFFECTED PROPERTY

of-way, pursuant to the 3rd Avenue and Chapter 163.

WORK ORDER
91erform all work required to convert the building located at 250 N.W. 9th Street from overhead electrical
service to underground electrical service. This shall include all applicable permits. and the installation of.the
following:
1. Down pipe and conduit to existing hand hole
2. Three 3/0 copper wires
3. Ground rods if required
The contractor shall remove any abandoned equipment, surplus material and removed cables/conduit and
dispose of these items in a legal matter for the work being performed under this work order. All restoration
work shall be approved by the CRA.
Perform all work in accordance with local building codes and WILCO estimate #19664.

Temporary Access Agreement
Black Archives History and Research Foundation Inc., the owner of the property
located at 250 NW 9t' Street Miami, Florida, grants the Southeast Overtown/Park West
Community Redevelopment Agency and its contractors and subcontractors, temporary
access to the referenced property for the purpose of relocating the overhead electrical
service underground.
This grant of temporary access is conditioned on The Southeast Overtown/Park
West Community Redevelopment Agency bearing all costs of such . conversion and
associated restoration work, assuming all liability for damage caused in conjunction with
said work, and performing all work in an expeditious and workman like manner.
